Change the structure of the silencer

Make the diameter of the pipe bigger

However, if you are the pursuer of the horsepower, it is suitable to adopt bell-mouth type which is gradually enlargement. The design is to gradually expand the diameter of the pipe, so that forming exhaust gas flow, especially in the case of continuous high speed operation, which is also a trend to modify the exhaust pipe.
Remove the three-way catalyst
The structure of the ternary catalyst is a ceramic honeycomb mesh. There is a ceramic structure of several tens of centimeters in a can, and there are numerous small holes. These ceramic structures are all attached to a catalyst for the conversion of harmful gases. This structure has a large blockage of the exhaust gas in order to increase the contact area between the exhaust gas and the catalyst, increase the conversion efficiency and play an environmentally friendly role. Removing the three-way catalyst and making it straight through, the exhaust will be smooth, but it is not environmentally friendly.
The purpose of above methods is to reduce the “exhaust pressure” and the exhaust resistance. Reducing the pressure of the exhaust gas will make the sound of the exhaust gas larger. Because the function of the exhaust itself is shock absorption, once the exhaust gas is smooth means the shock absorption function is weaken, so the sound is large.
